It is situated
in the ancient tower, the Oratory was built by Alessandro Sanvitale
in 1688 and dedicated to San Carlo Borromeo. A testimony is the
altar-piece of Antonio Nasini which represents the Saint Cardinal
who anointed the plague.
There is also Bartolomeo Schedoni’s fresco (Formigine of Modena
1570-PR 1615) realized between the 1609 and 1610, which represents
the Virgin, the Baby and Saints Giuseppe, Chiara, Francesco, Giovanni
Battista.
The altar in marble is beautiful and it’s contemporary to the
construction of the Chapel attributed to Alberto Oliva.
