A part of the 288
maps that the last Count Giovanni Sanvitale gave to the mayor
Pompeo Piazza few months after the sale of the castle to the Municipality,
is exposed in this room. The maps represent the irrigation’ systems,
canals, mills, lands in particular the plantations of the Sanvitale’
fields. Most of these maps are dated to the second half of the
XVIIIth century. On the maps there are 30 lithographs (in little
pictures) that the painter Alberto Pasini realized in 1850 representing
the castles of the Province of PR and PC and Lunigiana.
In a show-case in the wall, most of the objects which were recovered
in the Rocca’s moat, after its drainage, are preserved.
